Grossartige, meditative App!
The app itself is very simple, and its up to you whether you want to think of it like a game or a simulation of some sort, but in any case, its very addicting! Runs very smooth as well on a C2D MacBook Pro.
Fun to play with, but would be nice with some more configuration options, such a multi-coloured static images. I would rate this a 5-star app if you could save the images you create. Tried screen caps, but couldnt make it happen. All in all its fun for a while, but boredom can set in farely quickly.
Whenever Im bored, I just load this app (loads very quickly!) and play with it until I get bored, but it is the app (paid + free) I launched the most. It is really fascinating to see all the little dots move and watch myself doing art unintentionally. Though, when I get all the points together in a little dot (Takes conecntration) and then I destroy the little dot, the stars stay in groups... but this "bug" isnt big enough to rate this app 4 stars. BUY IT! TRUST ME IT IS WORTH IT :)
Its soothing to do this - engages some other part of the mind.
While it does what it says it does, and quickly. I got bored with it pretty quickly. You really need to decide if this fits your personality. Right now it is a bit of a one-trick pony. Audio response would be interesting, or a random mode (bouncing attractor, for instance) might add more life to this. If you arent a doodler, you might want to pass this one by. But if you are, its not a bad price.
Very simple program, with limited options, but still compelling. I would like to see contols that let you alter the physiscs (e.g. add gravity, add spiral controls, add 3D, such as forming the plane on an orb, rather than a wrapping flat panel.) Recomended.
until i bought it... TRY IT!! If I had one wish...that this could somehow receive MIDI input...I would LOVE to incorporate this into a performance.. Still...5 BIG stars
App is an absolutely sexy time killer and beauty Just go and buy it.
anyway to make these a desktop background?
Ive never felt so artisticlly charged. This application has a lot of things to play around with, the colors, the kids, and art. Ive even sent a couple of screenshots of my work to my friends. This application is estatic!
This app kept me entertained for a good 15 mintues, and Im sure I can keep my friends entertained for a while too. But I would really like to see a few improvements.... - A button or keyboard shortcut to take a picture and upload it to Gravilux online art dispaly where people can share the cool and creative designes they have made with this app. - I would LOVE to see this be turned into some sort of iTunes visulizer. If you could somehow make this app run automatically with songs, I would be willing to pay much more money! Great work so far, keep going!!
and you can save what you do by taking a screenshot. And if youre running Snow Leopard, start up Quicktime, and record the screen as you work with Gravilux. That will capture what you did and save it as a QT movie.
This app is so awesome! Genius idea, very fun, addicting, and stress relieving. I love this app and highly recommend it.
A very soothing app. It is very good for a day at work or after school where you are just stressed out and need to get away from it all. Also fun whenever. It is definetely worth your money. BUY NOW.
This game was really fun, I played it for about an hour when I got it but it needs more modes and variations
This is a fantastic program. It is so much fun just to click and see what happens. The only thing it is missing is the ability to save so that i can set it as my background, if it had that this program would be perfect.
I love playing with this, but wish there was a way to print my art, or make a screen shot or something. Am I missing something?
Fun! Pretty! Patterns! Random! Still organized.
This is a very cool application. Its a relaxing time-killer and/or work distraction. However, the icon is pretty horrid - OSX isnt a giant iPhone and the icons shouldnt be treated as such. Ill still give it five stars, however Id appreciate a nicer icon to better represent the applications quality design.
